Movie Review: Blackhat

As a techie, it’s hard to find a good computer movie.

There are classics as WarGames (1983), Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999), and The Imitation Game (2014), which make a decent job to tell a story based on computers.

Other ones are horrible as Swordfish (2001) or Hackers (1995).

Blackhat is a very good try of a computer action movie, that could creep into the classics.

The action, bullets, bombs, international terrorism, and intelligence agencies with three letter acronyms from several countries in the far east make a good background for a decent technical computer hacking story, not perfect, but close enough.
