Another true Canadian story up in the National news today.
A 60 tonne carcass of a dead whale is washed up in the shore at Trout River, Newfoundland, population of 600.
Appart from the stench, the dead whale has turned into a tourist attraction, but there is a little problem, decomposition is filling the carcass with methane, and now the whale could explode.

The small town has requested help from the Provincial and Federal governments, only to be told that it’s a local responsibility.
