R.I.P. Mickey The Lobster

True Canadian Story.

On April first, an abandoned lobster was found in a restaurant’s parking in St. Catherine’s Ontario. The restaurant doesn’t serve lobster in their menu, so the latest theory is that it was an April’s Fools prank gone wrong.

The lobster is rescued and sent to the Lincoln County Humane Society. The Humane Society loans a salt water tank from a super market, publicizes the case, and the picture makes the national media, and the lobster is named Mickey.

The Humane Society starts to receive offers for flying Mickey back to his home presumably in the Maritimes.

Unfortunately, Mickey dies during the night; and the Humane Society continues their investigation in order to establish how Mickey ended up in a parking lot.

Rest In Peace Mickey.
